Carly Sioux expanded on her take of the Salon for Whiskey Dregs, a fine online and in print publication. They pride themselves ” in being  immersed in our culture and enlist writers who partake in the causes they write about. No outsiders here although you’re more than welcome to come inside.” Carly Sioux is one of the people that lives and breathes the amazing and prolific underground music and art scene of New York City and beyond.

Carly Sioux, a talented Brooklyn based photographer visited Oblik Atelier studio for a little chat about the Salon and how it came to be.  Carly’s nature is to connect and foster relationships and she proudly promotes her talented circle of friends and acquaintances.  We only recently met and made a strong bond talking about The Amazing Marina Abramovic.  Carly’s work spans across the art spectrum.  She toggles with ease photographing musicians, performance artists, fashion designers and now jewelry.
