Greg Grigoriev (Grishka) Russian born American Artist. At the age of 12 he enrolled in Liepaja, Latvia Drawing Academy – this began a life-long commitment and appreciation of art in all forms. Greg later continued his education at the Moscow Textile Institute where he graduated with a BFA in industrial design.

In 1990 Greg moved to Los Angeles where he worked as a Textile Designer for St.John Knits and later continued his career as a Textile Artist in Osaka Japan. He then moved to San Francisco where he worked as a Computer Artist and Animator.

Throughout his travels and career transitions, Greg has continued to explore different art mediums. His latest has led him to metalworking where he has discovered a new language – a combination of new technology and traditional goldsmith bench work. This blend of styles is reflected in Greg’s work – clean minimalistic lines with intricate ornate medieval patterns and symbols.

Greg has taken part in numerous underground, avant-garde exhibitions in Russia, the Baltic States, the U.S., England, Canada and Japan. Since 2002 he has been living and working in New York City.
